watched it last night.
Its a good watch.

Apart from the end, its a bit far fetched.

Anybody else seen it, or want a good torrent for it ?

lol, I watched it last night too Smile
The crash scenes are really graphic and I wasn't expecting what happened.
I did think it was quite good. If it ever did happen, as far fetched as the ending is it would be our only hope.

i watched it the day it was released on DVD, was somewhat dissapointed tbh.

It was still quite good, mint special effects but not enough 'action', just didn't have me in the same 'wow' that other similar one's have.

Eagle Eye is a good watch, in HMV for 8quid or amazon for less, must see - I was more impressed by that. Thumbs Up

Most of the film was ok, the ending was cack, absolute cack!

I walked out of the cinema bemused thinking what the fuck :S

I liked it.

But the end? Seriously; why does every film these days have to have aliens in it at some point?

Take Indian Jones and the Crystal Skull for example??? Come on, that was clearly a flying saucer at the end!

It just seems like an easy way out for a film to end. Like they couldn't think of a good ending so they thought... "Yeah, lets put some aliens in it for good luck".

It ruins the film tbh. I like films with aliens but not when you actually see them. Such as Signs was a good film, cos you hardly saw the aliens, its all mind games.
Another good example is War of The Worlds. You know they are aliens but you never see some strange looking green dude pop up do you?

I liked it but the ending was a bit gay.

Those dudes in black were scary as fuck tho when you didnt know anything about them...

Like when he's walking thru the kids bedroom Shocked

Aircrash was wicked in the cinema simply cos it was so loud!!

I really dont like signs!! It scares me way too much (and its only a 12) and triggered my irrational fear of aliens.....

The worst part of the ending wasn't the aliens, but the thought of a bunch of ten year olds becoming self-sufficient on an entirely new planet.
Yeah, I give it 2 years before they all die of dysentery because they haven't the foggiest how to build an efficient irrigation system.
Even if they had the know-how AND the elbow grease, they would not be living utopian lives, as that generation would be forever labouring to manufacture a new society.
Bloody Hollywood, not thinking things through rationally.

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper.

But they use the wood of the golden tree as money to buy things from the aliens....

Maybe, with the setting as it were, the highly technically advanced aliens had considered all the potential flaws and catered for it properly?

We will just never know....

I thought wow this film is good. It has alcoholism and everything, then it ended and I was like WTF?? The creepy watcher bloke/aliens were canny interesting but the ending was utter tripe.

IMO that was not a proper ending for a film, it was some slapdash ending that people should be flogged for.
