Apparently they're moving the venue to the new track in Wales.

Won't be at either Silverstone or the Welsh circuit in 2015 though...

Greedy bastards, DORNA. Along with moving MotoGP to a paid channel (I refuse to pay for the channel as most of the cost probably goes to the overpaid football fairies) this is hardly going to get people into the sport. Rolling Eyes

They're currently deciding between Donington or Silverstone for 2015. MotoGP Wales won't happen. Sheep tend not to buy tickets.

Would seem a waste of money if they're not going to host one of the top motorcycle racing events!

Make 'em race around Cadwell Razz

Dorna demanding higher fees will kill the sport. While Silverstone is not great loss Laguna Seca was. How many more classic tracks will be dropped in favour of big budget promises from new tracks.

Bring back quarry Style track like Laguna, Like Brands we want hills and Camber not flat dull tracks

I just struggle to believe that the circuit will be built, completed and then continue to be viable. Look at Rockingham. That has a decent location, close to the hub of motor sport in the UK. So for that matter does Silverstone, which isn't in a great place financially. Why not invest money into the newly remodelled Anglesey?

It just doesn't make much sense to my mind. The whole thing seems wildly ambitious. (Much like Donington hosting F1)

Corporate bluffing IMO.

Silverstone and Dorna are fighting over terms. What better way to apply pressure than to start scaremongering.

Well it works for Formula 1.

Dorna want to turn MotoGP into a two wheeled F1.

So our government have to put money in for a private company to charge people to visit?!?!

Fuck Silverstone anyway.

Shitty track to watch. Could make something better elsewhere.

Would love to see it back at Donington in 2015, even if it is only for one year.

The racing is good but the facilities are shite, the paddock is not exactly world class and most importantly it's a nightmare to get in and out of. Oh and every time I've been there in the rain, it rains A LOT.

I wish Oulton had the run-off and infrastructure to support international racing.

It was at Indianapolis, boooooring!

To be fair I like the look of this Welsh track, lots of elevation change.

The trouble is the racing is so very different. They need different track properties to get the best out of them, which is why having F1 and MotoGP at the same circuit is a compromise for at least one of the sports.

They should go to Snetterton or Thruxton. Both lovely circuits with plenty of wide open space around them... Thumbs Up
