Being paranoid here, I'm 95% sure what I'm doing is right however I just wanted to double check with you lot as this is my 1st 4t motor build and a lot of £ and time is at stake if I fuck it up.

Which way around does the tensioner blade go (new style tensioner), this way?

Also is this timing correct? Looks the same as others on the forum to my eye.

this is correct.

and the timing looks like its ok. could be 180 degrees out though, i dont know. its usually timed off cyl #1 as far as i know. TDC on cyl 1 with all valves closed.

turn it by hand, if it doesnt stop, try firing it up.
