hi all thanks for all the info.regarding my choices of getting 600cc sports or 1000cc sports...well guys ive been riding just less than a year on my honda cbr250rr and i em sure to myself that i em being careful when it comes to riding but of course you get to the point where you want push the bike to the limit sometimes and thats normal right....i know its all about experience but dont you guys think its a waste of money buying 600 then later on you want to get to 1000 im just being realistic.. its dangerous if you do crazy stuff to it and you must know its your own life your putting in danger.. i guess its my choice at the end of the day..

if its of any use, ive got a 1000 and im selling it to back to a 600. the 1000 is fun for the power but after a while it does seem pointless. kind of took the fun out of riding.

In a similar vein to Keirs post, I have a 1000 too. I love riding it, but I also have a 750, which is more fun to ride on the road. If you like to push it a bit on the road a 600/750 will suit you better.

Have you actually ridden a thou?

Probably mentioned in the other thread, but if you only want a 1000 for bragging rights might be best to get a twin like an early RSV/Firestorm which will make about the same power as an IL4 750.
