 |
|
I've got Talon hubs on my 99 XR400R... just bought a wheel bearing kit for the front for an xr400r, one of the bearings is the right one, the other isn't.. it has a big one on the left side and a small bearing on the right hand side... the dust seals are also different to the kit
Does anyone know if Talon hubs should take the same bearing kit as standard or is it different? ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Have the bearings got numbers on?
As I found recently for my CRM, can get the bearings pretty cheap ordering by number. £6.50 delivered for wheel bearings all around from ebay, hell of a lot better than £6 - £10 each + from a bike shop .
In answer to your question - wouldn't surprise me. They may well use very similar hubs/design of hubs between models and just use different spacers and bearings for each model. |

I've got the bearing numbers now, will email the place I bought my set from (was only £10 for front set off ebay anyways) and see what they say, if not i'll just get the larger bearing from a supplier/ebay and re-use the old dust seal things. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |
