Seriously, i get this from time to time (maybe once ever 2 or 3 months)....i just have a lie down/go to sleep over night and it seems to be fine. You been doing excessive amounts of work/excercise recently that you wouldn't normally do?

My aunt has some sort of illness in her ears that affects her balance and that sort of thing. I think she's normally pretty out of it for a couple of days when it happens, might be something along those lines?

Pig flu? It's the current trendy illness so everything qualifies.

Vertigo?

I suffer from it every now and then, yet I do not have a fear of heights.

Went to work and had a bout of it. Was staggering around like I was pissed. Not a good impression for your MD!

I suffered; dizziness, sickness, poor coordination. Doc gave me some pills that reduced the sensation so I could at least walk a bit more normally. Ony real releif was to lay down. Even sat up made me feel like I was swaying!

We are bikers not doctors...find yourself another forum...preferrably one with the right sort of people, and ask them! Failing that, ring NHS direct and ask the experts.

I agree with Clancy, Go fuck yourself.

It's impossible to give advice for what clancy asked, other than telling him to go see a doctor. Your examples aren't similar to what clancy asked.

Dietician, that post was simply asking what to eat to get more fibre.
Directory enquires, asking if anyone knows a good panel beater is massively different to asking for medical advice. Laughing
Asking for suggestions where to go on holiday is equally un-comparable.
The doctor thread she already knew what the problem is and was asking if anyone knew how to prevent it.

He should go see a doctor. So go fuck yourself. And clancy can fuck himself in the doctors waiting room. Thumbs Up

What's with the attitude?

You ask for medical advice on a motorbike forum and get the hump when someone suggests that the common sense course of action might be to contact a doctor.

What were you expecting, a full and correct medical diagnosis?

all i asked was if anyone had any ideas.
which they had, because a few people had a similar thing.
i didnt ask for a medical diagnosis, just if anyone had any ideas.

and i could be wrong but i posted this in a non bike related section, about getting advice.
i dont see what the problem is with that.

There is no problem. But don't tell someone to 'go fuck themselves' when they give you advice that you don't like.

he didnt give me advice of any kind. he told me to post in a different forum.
i could comprahend that if i had posted in say 'biking news' but i didnt, i posted in the advice section. and the reason i told him to go f*ck himself was because im ill and wasnt in the mood for a snide comment about it.

Don't listen to bendy Clancy, i have been telling people that give me advice to go fuck themselves for years. Hell i even tell google to go fuck itself and it's still answer my questions. Ok so most people don't talk to me any more but fuck them right.

Anyone that can't take a "go fuck yourself" should go fuck themselves, that's my view.

But here's me giving advice, I will save you the trouble Clancy, i'm off to fuck myself right now.
