Now i know a scoter doesnt really classifie its just tht im not having trouble with my bike atm so was wondering if any1 could help answer few of my questions about this scooter i picked up.

i picked up this old honda melody from the front of some ones house as it looked like something fun to rebuild. ive bought a new battery put petrol and oil in it the battery is wrking and everything but its not starting and not 100% sure why.
i checked the spark plug and it looks good but going to get another one just incase.

any1 have any ideas, would be really handy cheers. Very Happy Very Happy

Is the fuel getting through to the cylinder?

Is the spark plug actually sparking? Could be a fault with wiring/CDI etc.

Did they know about it at the time or could the issue be eletrical after you smashed the ignition apart to hot-wire it!? Laughing
