I can honestly say that is one qualification I would never be able to obtain.

That is utterly amazing... i always did struggle with waiting for the bus to stop BEFORE stepping out of the vehicle..

Hi,

In fairness to the AQA these things are for people with severe leaning difficulties to help with basic skills. Bury should not be handing them out to "normal' people.

Which makes more sense than teaching them french

I'm a little disturbed that out of 900 people only 300 recieved some form of accreditation, some for "sporting prowess"
What the hell does that mean? Running for a bus perhaps? And what happens to the 600 who fail? Are they still allowed to catch a bus?

i mean come on? a certificate for riding the feking bus????

next they will hand out sertificates for.............

-thinking about going for POO

-AND LET ONE GO!!!

Grayzo, as I'm sure you are aware, some people have difficulty with mainstream subjects (such as spelling and grammar) in school. The qualification is designed with these people in mind. Have you ever considered entering for it? It could be an excellent CV booster for you.

Social work have sessional workers who's job it is to work with people who aren't able to do simple things (like get the bus) by themselves. Either due to lack of confidence, physical or mental impairment etc etc, it's a good idea; but not for normal able bodied youths.

I read that report somewhere else. Apparently the guy's younger brother failed it because he didn't look out the window...

His dad also said, he was really proud of his eldest son and that he'd go really far... As long as he got the number 131...

It does beg the question, when is one of the examiners going to get picked up by the police for acting suspiciously at bus stops secretly observing young people...
