hi. ive just joined so thought i best say hello

im brett from wakefield in yorkshire, and my bike history is as follows

16 yr old had a 50cc derbi senda, followed by a cpi 50cc chinese crappy scooter thing, then had about a year off and got a 2005 rs125 when i was 18 kept that for 2 years and in febuary this year passed my test and got a 2000 zx6r j1 restricted due to my license.
i then got a last minute ferry to the isle of man for this years tt 3 days before i actually got on the ferry. i spent my 21st birthday on the island and it was the best thing ive ever done. until i go next year when it will be better!

i am now thinking of getting rid of the kawasaki and getting a supermoto/ enduro bike but i havent decided as yet.

and thats basically it for the moment. Very Happy Very Happy

Hi Brett welcome to BCF it's nice to see someone else from wakefield on here.

If you ever see a red and black zzr or a little blue h100 and the rider is nodding somewhat over enthusiasticly it's probably me Thumbs Up

Welcome, nice bike Very Happy, how much insurance do you pay for a 600 at your age?

I wanted a 600 but couldn't afford the insurance at £1500. I pay £700 for my 400 on a restricted licence.

God those insurance figures sound high. I pay £200 for my XJ and I've only had my license since june (and no no claims).

My VFR insurance is £720 TPFT, I have 1 years no claims and have held my licence for 5 weeks today. I have declared all of my mods though.
