I posted this in the exchange + mart section a while back but got no messages so I thought I'd put it up here and hopefully get some replies or ideas!

My CB500 (1994) came with a luggage rack on the back instead of the original pillion grab rail. I've taken it off 'cause I hate the look of it and I want to put the rail back on to fill the holes, also I think it looks pretty good with the bike (hence wanting the original).

I've trawled ebay, emailed a few breakers and even emailed Honda.
None to be found anywhere and Honda just said contact your local dealer, which I did with no reply (probably all laughing at me for trying to find original parts for a 15 year old bike!) I've also looked on as many online parts and accessories shops as I can still with no luck.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can find one because to be honest it's just pissing me off now! ! Laughing

I've got one! Finally! Emailed a guy selling CB500 bits on ebay and he listed it for me, put it on at £15 plus postage so I offered him a tenner and he changed the price straight away. Pretty glad I didn't pay £50 for the last one now!

Good deal!

If it helps you in future the CB500 went for a few years after your '94 bike with minor changes.

Dealers may not be much help if you send them emails but if you turn up in the parts department and ask for something they will probably be able to order you one in for a few years to come. Thumbs Up
