Just had my first coversation with my daughter.

She is 19 months old now and for the last few months we have been getting words from her but never like conversation.

She has just creased me up with this as it was completely unexpected. . .

And then she sauntered off shouting giberish.
And thats it.

Made me laugh and swell with pride anyway.

Had exactly the same conversation with the other half a couple of days ago and she's 38 so Keira is advanced for her age.

My daughter is 13 months old now and so funny, she understands more than you think but doesn't really say any proper words yet. We do lots of signing with her so she can sign for stuff - milk, her fave doggy, no, more etc.
Anyway a few nights ago she wasn't too well and woke up crying at about 2am, I got her up and offered her some water. She said in the clearest and most grown up voice - "No", and did the no sign. I was gobsmacked!!

(She hasn't said it like that since! )
