Made one hill (easy!):

Not so easy, 2/3 way up on 2nd and 3rd attempt (kept losing momentum).. lost my footing when I came to a halt on the 3rd attempt and broke my cheapo mirror. Laughing

Leads in amongst the forrest bit

Nearly lost it big time in there! Laughing front end lost it in some soggy moss shit, rear end fell down off the track (about 60 degrees swinger!), i get chucked about, give it mega throttle accidently but somehow came out ok Shocked

Tyres blow:

A bit mucky back home:

I was the only one there today, had the whole place to myself but couldn't go some places without my knobblies! Sad

That place looks awesome! Couldn't be much further away from me if it tried, but it looks awesome all the same!

^ there's also a big MX track they use for the Scottish Championships (i think), a smaller warmup/junior MX track, a whole other side which I didn't get to (too mddy and no knobbly tyres = no no) which is about the same size again to what's pictured.. I think she said it's about 800 acres in total (1.2 square miles?) I reckon it must be bigger though.

I've been spending quite a lot of time in Scotland recently as my Dad is really ill and he lives in Selkirk. Gonna definitely take the van and bike up next time.
Thumbs Up

Along the A71 you'll come to Drumclog (very small), turn off on to the B745 and follow that road down to the crossroads. Turn left and it's the first farm house on your right.. It's all basically the area behind the house.

Old thread but new to me. Looks worth a visit. Places like this are few and far between north of the border
