there is no fuel warning light on the nsr's Sad bit silly really, you just have to check the tank - and the best way is to know how many miles you get to a tank, and then reset the trip counter when you fill up.

Basically.

What you do is reset your trip meter thingy everytime you get petrol. Once you know your tank range, you know when to fill up.

I, on the other hand, have a petrol light Cool But I still do the trip thing, so I dont set off then run out on some motorway somewhere.

When your engine splutters and dies (usually while you're overtaking an HGV in the wrong lane) then you know you should switch to reserve. Guages are for girls Very Happy

Well that's about the price I would of presumed.. if the engine and everything else is in fully working order. But then again I haven't seen it and don't know what it's like. Go with your own opinion. Smile

you can get a rough idea by looking at bikes on the autotrader / biketrader site (link) and see what they are going for.

Hi

I think it would depend on the condition of the bike, how well it is running, how good the tyres are, how good the chain is, etc. Immaculate and lucky then you will get anything up to £1500. Tatty and barely running you will be lucky to get £500. I would be tempted to get it into a proper running, MOTd and taxed condition, with everything clean and polished then advertise it for around £900~£1000, aiming to get around £800

All the best

Keith

I reckon 600 quid if this is the ebay one - its a horrible colour, torn seat, and a bit trashed.

Did you get it sparking then?

You should see my NSR currently if you think the one you're looking at's bad. Confused Just get it if it's your first bike anyway you're likely to come off it - (example: me) and anyway you can save up for buying a big daddy of a bike. Wink

Oh wait are you talking about buying it or selling it here?

Cam.

Hi

The seat shouldn't be too bad to redo. Cost me about £40 to get a bike seat professionally recoved at the end of last year, but if you want to try yourself you shouldn't have a problem

All the best
