Does the 200 quid include exhaust pipework and fitting? To fit other exhausts onto a VFR 400 you need to drop the engine out to fit a full system, and to fit a can you need to saw the old one off and weld the new one on or use a lot of clamps and sleeving.

not sure if you need a full system I think its a conversion but im trying to find out more details.

I've come to the conclusion that I should keep my nc for a few more years. As the power is more than i need already and I do love it to bits so I may aswell invest a little into it.

That's not investing, that's setting yourself up, nicely, for a loss. Laughing Wink

It'll be interesting if you get it done. Cool

Its clint and to be honest any mod to any bike its the same.

Its my money so i do what I like just the same as if want to drive round at 30mph or 100mph its my choice not yours.

That's an NC35, and unless Nick has modded it for an NC30 subframe, you'll need to bodge on an NC35 one.

I think that the exhaust is also a half-system, so you need to butcher up your existing downpipes.

Oo-er! I should have noticed it wernt a vfr... goes to show i was looking properly. To be honest it sounds like a lot of work dean but it shouldnt take to long if you have all the proper bits and the tools to do it.

fuck that for a game of soldiers...

'bodging' anything like that will take *a lot* of effort just to get it looking half-decent. Only the brave or very stupid buy bodywork not suitable for their bike.

What about returning it to original Dean? Will get you more on the resale value...

yeah i have thought about that and the bike currently is half white and half repsol painted the reason I thought about that tail was because i was gonna get a one seat tail unit for my bike anyways and thought i should consider this an option if it was open to me.
