Well it cost me almost £90 for the weekend including ticket food booze etc and then I got home and the car wouldn't start Confused Hmm i thought. I'd just been driving for 100 miles so the battery couldn't be flat could it? (no)

Anyway jacked up the car after a few hours looking and it appears that the oil sump has been smashed! it must of been smashed on hill or something, how i don' know! luckily there was loads of oil in it so the pretty big leak was only a problem for the last 2 miles which is lucky.

And it doesn't end there Sad lack of oil has also killed something to do with the starter so it doesn't start very well even with oil.
New parts £112 Sad My dad's mate has just left with the bad news Sad

What car do you drive again mate?

I take it no oil warning light had came on while driving? (this is a good thing as it means the oil preasure was still there (unless of course the light wasn't working))

Guess the £112 included fixing of the sump?
