Wr450f gearbox issue.

Cutting a long story short, ive got a problem with second gear, it rattles and knocks like buggery, doesnt loose drive or slip, still has all the power it had before, just with added rattle! Shocked

I noticed it after hitting a stupidly steep speed bump rather hard (clutch was in on hitting it and landing it)

any help would be great, cheers.

Sounds like the dogs, (selector fork) I dont think you should use it . It will let go big time Crying or Very sad

Engine out, split cases etc, no short cuts, unless you want to wreck the motor.

Aye, ripped the motor out and split it, turns out to be one tooth broken from the 2nd pinion gear (see pic) now i just have to find out what caused it, as its clean as a wistle in there, and no other damage found.
