Does anyone know how to remove the reedblock as it seems that one of the bolts is just a pointed metal stud.

Cheers

That is a tamperproof security bolt, made to snap off when it reaches a certain torque when new, this then leaves what you have left, they do it to stop people messing around with different reeds ect, and de restricting bikes.
The best method of removal is to use a center punch and a hammer, and knock it round, placing the punch just off to one edge slightly and on the sharpest angle to the bolt head as you can get, you must know what you are doing to be able to do this though.
Another way (if there is room) is to grip the remaining bolt head with a pair of mole grips and turn it anti clockwise to undo it.
Jamie.

Diamond Geezer Jamie. I think I'll leave it. I have put a 70cc kit and a 110 dell' orto carb on.

Thanks again
