Derbi Mulhacen 125 vs Terra 125 vs Yamaha YBR 125

After 10 years driving a car and covering more than 160.000kms I decided it is about time to use a transport mean with fewer wheels...
My only experience on 2 wheels is from bicycle.

I would like to start with something light and with not very high seat position. I am 1.73cm (5' 9") tall and at about 66-68kgs (150lbs).

I sat on a Derbi Senda 125 Baja supermotard and it felt pretty light and ok. I'd prefer it a touch lower.

So my choices are Derbi Mulhacen 125, Derbi Terra 125 and Yamaha YBR 125. Outsiders are Suzuki TU volty 250 and Nipponia Nr 125. The last two are second hand and older of course than the others...

I'd like to get your opinions. It would be of great help and significance since I am completely newbie in motorbikes.

I take it you are not from UK, if not i dont know the rules for your country so you will have to find them out.

on the bike front the ybr125 from yamaha seems to be reliable , fuel efficient, looks not bad and does what it says on the tin, my mum can ride one , shes 5' 6" so thats fine for the smaller person, and the fuel gauge comes in handy!

I am not from the Uk.
The Terra 125 has 15 hp and 2 brake discs. It think it is very good for a beginner but seems a bit expensive.

Get the volty if they were easier to get in the UK I would have one. Second hand is usually a good route for your first bike as you're likely to drop it at least once, plus it's less of a blow if it gets stolen or rusty.

I can find the others second-hand as well.
The YBR 125 one of the easiest to find...
