Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
Feck sake, im getting cheesed off with these stupid indicators! Right. I have 2 pairs of motrax mini indicators, which have 12v 23w bulbs in them. Does the NSR use 23w bulbs? oh no, they have to be a pain in the arse and use impossible-to-find-in-small-size 10w bulbs. So i have a set of small indicators with small 23w bulbs, and a set of big 10w bulbs.
Then i hear i just have to swap the indicator relay (flasher unit) for a 23w one which halfords or someone will do. Cool! problem solved then?! NO. Evil or Very Mad Halfucks only do 21w flasher units, and they 'dont even have any 23w ones on the catalogue'. FUCKERS. so i bought a 21w flasher unit, come home thinking 'bah, whats a watt or 2 - it'll work!' So i take the old flasher unit out, and compare it to the new one..............shit, the old one has 2 legs and this one has 3! grrrr.......back to fuckfords. 'Hi, can i please change this indicator unit for one with 2 legs?' yeah sure!...oh except we dont do them ones....

Fuck.

Anyone reccomend anything? like smashing the indicators off with shovels and just using arm signals? Laughing

ta!
Lee

apologies for all the swearing, but this is really annoying me now!

LMAO!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Cheers everyone......i seem to have it working (temporarily!) by using 4w bulbs in the front and 23w in the rear as suggested by TJ NSR (nice one mate!). But i suppose its only a matter of time before the relay goes pop, so i'll give M&P a ring tomorrow, cheers Scotty Very Happy

Lee,

On my NSR, I have my Motrax mini ones at the front, and the big standard Honda airbrakes on the rear.

The relay clicks a tiny lil bit when I start the flashers, and they go a lil fast, but they're fine none the less.

If you have a three pin relay just use the two parrallel to each other and it works fine - any bike dealer will do a 25W relay in two or three pins.

(and yes i know i need to do something about that ugly bastard billboard size numberplate!)
