I wonder why kawasaki doesn't make Z1000S. Many others are saying if there was Z1000S, I would buy it, or long screen on Z1000 doesn't look good etc. If one feels ZRX1200 is too heavy, Z1000S would be a nice choice! Dont you think so?

Also don't you want Z750S come back again?

Yamaha FZ1 has faired and unfaired, and faired one looks popular for me. I wonder what makes these differences.

Kawasaki make the ZRX1100S. Probably don't want to steal sales from themselves.

Z750S fairing looks like a melted sweet IMO.

Sorry to be an anorak but they stopped making the ZRX1100 in 2000. Then they stopped making the ZRX1200 last year I think and are now making the DAEG 1200 but only for the Japanese market.

Did you get used to the weight of your ZRX1100 soon? I'm really afraid of riding bike over 200kg. (about 220kg bikes).

Good Lord that is one ugly headlamp.

Kawashima, the heavier bikes aren't too bad, my Dad lets me out on his ST1100, which is about 260-290kg wet weight which is almost 200kg heavier than my RS50.

Within about 20 minutes playing around I'd gotten used to the weight (and the extra speed Laughing) so it shouldn't be any problem for you.

The one thing I will say with like a 260-290kg bike that I don't like is the gyroscopic effect of the front wheel kicks in very late, so you don't have to countersteer until later, feels very odd.

You do get used to the weight quite quickly.
Had you considered getting a Z1000 and fitting a Z750S fairing onto it? I don't know of the details, but presume it would be possible some how.

The ZRX is about 50kg heavier ( Shocked ) than the Yamaha XJ600 I was riding previously but it didn't take any time at all to get used to the extra weight, in fact I recall feeling right at home on the ZRX as soon as I swung my leg over it. Slow maneuvers are just as easy as before and I feel confident riding it without worrying about how heavy it is at all. I guess how big you are would make a difference to how it would feel aswell, I'm 6'0 and weigh 13ish stone.

I'd suggest taking a test ride as it's the only way you'll find out if you can cope with the extra weight or not although I'm sure there wouldn't be any problems if you take it easy.

Never found weight an issue with mine, but did with the barge like handling was even with the eccentric adjuster rotated 180ยบ to quicken up the steering.

It was the only bike I bought on looks and didn't test ride, wish I had before handing over the cash.

At last I found "Z1000S" photos. The owner says he welded stay for Z750S to his Z1000.
Looks really cool in my opinion.
