Wait for it... dunc's had *ANOTHER* spill!

After hauling the bike up and trying to wipe some of the crap off, i gave up and just pushed it home...

Better with the grass and stuff on it - people will think 'haha, he's crashed' rather than 'look at that twat pushing that broken down heap of shite home.' Thumbs Up Laughing

Coming through the farm road behind my work, come round the corner and see this beasting 4x4 coming towards me, taking up the whole road.

So i pulled in to the left, as far as i could without going onto the grass, and as he comes past he clips my handlebar, causing me to fall to the left...

Now... trying to hold on to the bike... I managed to open the throttle as i fell whilst slipping from the clutch, and the thing comes straight over on top of me, slides a little and comes to an end on the mucky grass.

The guy never stopped, and i never got his plate.

Only damage is a snapped clutch lever (i think from when it fell) and lots and lots of mud.

Damage to me - Im dirty and i think i have a broken finger Sad

Pics...

Yes, i did put the grass back on it to show you what it looked like Laughing

And after i cleaned the bike, i moved on to the jacket Laughing

Nothing serious.

Could've been worse Laughing

You spend so much time coming off the bike I'm starting to think your some sort of weird emo biker and rather than cutting yourself you cause pain by bike instead.

Glad your ok though Thumbs Up

p.s that road looks flaming wide how did he manage to clip you on that ?

Have not got a fecking clue, he was more on my side though.

Probably on his phone or something, it was quite a big truck though.

So when i get it repaired i'm going around east lothian for a day looking for a big blue 4x4 with a scrape on the right side.

Good that your OK mate Thumbs Up

Was it in your local area? Maybe you will spot the tosser in the near future?

Out of interest what would you do if you saw the culprit's vehicle parked up with no one about?.... Take REG and report him/her, or take the law into your own hands?

Yeah, just behind my work and behind my house too Thumbs Up

And i probably will see him around if he's local, not too many 4x4's kicking around Thumbs Up

Both Mr. Green

'Honestly officer, that big dent and broken light/mirror must've been from when he hit me.'

Not really worth taking into my own hands, a tenner for a new cluch cable will hardly break the bank.

I'd report him and if nothing happens, then when he leaves for work he'll wonder where the dents came from.

Cool Laughing

Would be funny if theres a 4x4 forum somewhere, and someone posted up saying that shortly after hitting a bike they managed to flip the jeep.

I know Laughing

I wish i had at that point.

Never had a clutch lever or else i would've.

And when he stopped i would've beat him senseless with my lid.

I think the amount of crashes you have is not normal.

Seriously.

Do you aspire to get a large bike one day?

Only 3 Laughing

And yeah, i have a GPZ500s waiting for me to pass my test...

The day i pass i'm dropping off the CG and going out on the GPZ...

In all fairness.... This is my first and it wasn't really my fault...

The other two were down to poor obs and me generally throwing the bike around.

Laughing

I'm glad you're ok,it's shocking that the cnut drove off without helping you. Exactly what happened to me and no doubt loads of others Rolling Eyes Hope the little CG is ok,bless it and yeah I would go out for a look for a scraped 4X4 and beat him with your lid. Sounds like a plan Thumbs Up

Yeah, what is it with SUV drivers? It's like they're not aware of the width of the whales they're driving. I was forced into the verge once when I was on L plates ... bloody scary I can tell you, fishtailing over grass and mud. Didn't matter how far over I went, the juggernaut simply compensated by mover further over onto my side of the road.

Or maybe they see the L plate as a bullseye?
