following the current trend of forum members getting a b1h i purchased a new bike today, a 54 plate zx6rr k1h. 4000 miles and truely the mintest bike ive seen, its like its never been ridden.
Bring on wednesday when i collect it.

Just out of curiousity, why get a ZX6RR instead of a normal ZX6R 636?

I'd rather have the extra 37cc over the forged pistons, adjustable swingarm pivot, close ratio gearbox and slipper clutch.

Still a down-right gorgeous machine

because its rarer and a little tiny bit different to the run of the mill. the speed difference is going to be marginal coming from a litre bike anyway.

I have the exact same bike which I converted to track.. bought a mint B1 last month which i put on track but TBH the slipper clutch is a real bonus and I can't find any noticable increase in speed in the the B1 looking at the speedo through some sections...lap times were actually way down due to my "non blipping" experience..

I got the same ackro on the RR and a Yoshi on the b1 but even though the Ackro is quieter there is no "farting" fueling issues like the Yoshi ..

Plenty of fresh oil changes seems to keep it sweet
