Is this true?

An ER-6 owner posted a video. He was heading for hokkaido touring and when he arrived at ferry terminal, it's side stand came off from the frame, he had to cancel the touring.
He made a complaint to kawasaki, and the answer he got was "It can be happened if you load fully".
And he sold the bike for parts remover, because if he try to repair the frame, a very complicated procedure was necessary for him(he had to bring his bike to the bereau a few times), and it didn't pay him costly.
What do you think of this?

The ER-6 allways seemed like alot of bike, for not alot of money. I wouldn't be suprised at low build quality and the manufacturer refusing to admit to there being a problem.

We tend to think "Hey it can be happen cause it's kawasaki" but I feel sorry for him.
