I am a proud owner of a honda nsr 125.I`ve been trying to do a stoppie since I have my nsr but I never succeeded.Today I was looking at a fit girl:)) and the car in front of me suddenly braked hard.I usually use the front brake because I find the back one useless.I have braked hard and I felt the bike going up and up and up.I released the lever and my bike came back on 2 wheels.Since then I`ve been doing small stoppies, and i tend to do a stoppie everytime I stop:)).Next step is wheelie but is bloody difficult.I know maybe you will find it childish but it doesn`t matter.Has anyone did a stoppie by mistake?lol

Haha, good work!! I accidentally did a wheelie at a roundabout junction today lol, probably not a great place to do it but was quite fun lol Very Happy !

Although I shouldn't think a stoppie at every to is a particulaly good idea lol, can't see it being great for the bike (suspension and frame) either!

ive done wheelies and stoppies by accident..
clutch got stuck, i revved the tits off it and then the clutch just popped on its own and up it went! haha
doing 70 approaching a roundabout, seen oil on the road so thought.. oh SH*T! slammed the front brakes and did a huge rolling stoppie.

id find a carpark to practice stoppies in if i were you, wheelies are fairly easy to recover when something goes wrong.
stoppies... not so much. haha. if that front wheel goes.. you go off to the side and hit nothing but tarmac.

have fun,

yeah I know is a bad habit.Anyway I dont think I will do stoppies because my front forks ar shit, both seals leeking so can`t afford to smash em` now.Hopefully if I pass my tests I will get a r6 and it will be so much easyer.

haha yeah that must have been one awesome shot...

what they should do to make speed cameras more popular...
if you do get caught and see the flash.. you should be able to pull over, walk to the camera, pop a quid in the back and get a souvenier snap shot. hahaha

i was on side of the road on grass and i opened it up and as i dropped of the kerb on to the road the front end went up
my arms and legs went flying around as i was screaming like a girl
the front came back down with a slam and i regained control

suprisingly enough the Gs stumbled uppon enough power to pull a wheelie lol Laughing on my first ride literally at every traffic lights i stalled it, my uncle then suggested i gave it a little more revs when setting off. i did but let the clutch out too quickly (the reason i kept stalling it in the first place) and up the wheel goes, then stupidly i panicked and just pulled the clutch in as a brake which then made it start revving its nuts off, thus letting the clutch out again too quickly and doing another accidental wheelie! F*cking scared the shit outta me Embarassed !
Although on the way back i was perfectly fine Laughing

Needles to say i've not tried to wheelie it again and have had smoooooooooth riding ever since Mr. Green

That last one reminds me of when i was at school.

People in the year above me just turned 16 they all got thier mopeds. It was just outside and there was a zebra crossing, the 1st ped stopped the second didnt see but then grabbed a handful of the leaver and went onto his front, then his mate behind was looking to the side and went into them both at about 20........... Mr. Green

So funny

did a beast of a wheelie on my ar125 at the industial estate at work. me, ma brothe and cousin all prattin about at lunch decided to drag down the main road. 3-2-1 go! I reved my bike upto 6ish, then dropped the clutch. Front end rose so much i shat myself. because of the rough ground, i veered o the left, and slid off the back of my seat. manage to stand up, and dop the bike back on its 2 wheels next to me Smile the security camera footage must be amazing! couldnt stop laughing for ages!

Now, i'm so careful, i almost stall it!

Wow, that was like watching a fat chick do a back flip or something... unexpected Laughing

Anyway, never done a stoppie myself, only a wheelie or two... Laughing Laughing I only just got my DT and started getting used to it, then I removed a restrictor that enables the power value to kick in more and when I was trying to potter along in slow moving traffic I got a bit carried away and did a very awakard, accidental wheelie indeed Laughing Must of looked like a right twat, certainly felt like one Embarassed

my first and only stoppie was when i was learning and doing the old emergency stop manouvere.

"It's all in the front brake" says the instructor.

So I grab a handfull of front brake at 30mph. Fortunately it was a warm dry day, I had warmed up tyres and I was on a dead long straight road.

Instructor wasn't impressed.

My first... stoppie....... was on an old KH100EX. Not long after my CBT. Now id done my CBT on a drum braked CG125 that wont lock the front wheel no matter how hard one crushed the lever.

First good trip out on the KH100EX (which has the front brake setup from a Z550 which weights double) I had to emergency stop. I braked hard, back end came up. Bike stoppied perfectly. I flew off the bike and flying headbutted the golf in front.
