Welcome! I ride a CG too, it's an awesome bike to start on Thumbs Up unfortunate about a badger though Rolling Eyes I lowsided a couple of weeks after first getting on the road personally... but that really was just not looking where I was going.

G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

Cheers for the quick welcome, looks like i aint the only one up at this time Smile
The CG's my second bike, started with a chinese bike on an 08 plate and it lasted a week before things started going wrong, buy cheap buy twice and all that.
Think i'll have to keep my eye out for wildlife, my village is surrounded by woods so is teeming with badgers, foxs, deer and the like. I guess if you get on a bike you've got to accept you're going to come off at some point Doh!

Ah pretty much the same, I got 9 months total out of my first chinese bike though. It seems like many others also did the same. Luckily I've yet to hit an animal discounting the thick layer of flies found on my helmet from long journeys. I really shouldn't be up this late.

Indeed, do be on the lookout for wild life, hazard perception and all that. Ride safe Thumbs Up
