Hi

I am after a Windows based network monitoring tool.
We have been having slowness of network reported in some of the external buildings at work and across sites.
We are a Cisco house but I dont want to use anything like netflow to monitor but instead a simple server or server/client solution.

What do you all use or suggest?

Um, you're a Cisco house and you don't want to use the best known network monitoring software for Ciscos.... Cuckoo cuckoooooo.....

Nothing else will tell you anything useful. Sure, you could mirror a port on a switch and run wireshark. You could put some Cacti graphs together and look at ping latency. But Netflow is the shizzle my man.

Ntop. The win32 demo version is limited to 1000 packets, the Linux version isn't limited at all.
