[Muscle Bike Rider]

Now I know i'm only learning still on my bike and have nothing against scooter / twist and go riders but after today they really make me nervous, coming home from work (in London) I'm riding sensible doing all my observations etc riding central and just left of the central line so the cage in front can see me when I get 2 twist and go's obviousley racing to the lights overtake me at the same time one to my left one to my right as I'm approaching a bit of a pot hole leaving me nowhere to go!, managed to hit the anchors and do a last minute jiggle around it, catch up to them a bit further down the road and pass them as they are now having a chat as riding, low and behold as I approach my turn off to the left indicating in plenty of time they decide to undertake me, if it wasnt for doing a life saver it could of got messy. Do these people just ignore or forget everything they were told when doing CBT or when learning for their full licence? Its bad enough watching what all car drivers are doing without watching other bikers who should be more aware and considerate. Rant over as it really shook me up a bit!

I did my cbt training last saturday, two other people there (16 and 17) on twist and go's. Personally I have concerns about them being out on the road with so little bike experience really, one guy was clearly not listening to the theory and safety side of things. But he managed to answer a couple of questions so he passed. Im sorry but he was a complete chav, just wanting to have a moped to show off to his mates- I bet everything he was taught has now gone out of the window!

But performing stunts like you see them do is concerning, especially when generally the only safety gear is the minimum.

Alot of young scrotes have twist and go's and think they're evil knievel, and as a twist n go rider I would like to say simply at the front of most mopeds under the fairing there is enough space to fit a small semi automatic handgun and if you see someone riding like a knob regardless of bike or size shoot they're back tyres out, but make sure you leave enough distance to pass safely and should also work for the blind car and van drivers out there.
