Im going to put a deposit down on a nice new CBR1000RR tomorrow, and they said they can do me an HRC, or Repsol one for the price of a normal one. I just can't decide, I quite like the Repsol but not sure if its looking a bit dated now, and I like the HRC but not sure if its a bit to plain!

Need some help deciding!

Motorcycles should be matt black.

Unless they are red because red ones go faster.

The repsol would have looked nicer with a black frame, i'd get the HRC or even the navy blue with ABS that looks nice.

Best colour is the dark red.

I'm still deciding R1 vs Fireblade, myself, but it's R1 in white vs Fireblade in dark red.

Im leaning towards the HRC, I think it looks cleaner, but the Repsol looks quite funky, there is loads about though.

Theres a De Puniet Playboy CBR1000RR for sale at another Honda dealer, but there finance deals are crap and the bike works out to expensive.

Im starting to think the HRC looks like a load of random panels put together now!

Im rubbish at making decisions Sad

Don't you spend most of your time at work with your hand up a pigs arsehole?

I do that sometimes but my boss is of the oppinion that pictures of naked women being displayed on the work computer which is visible to customers from the front desk constitutes a violation of the company internet policy.

Maybe considered by some an old fashioned attitude but I appreciate his generally easy going approach to members of staff using the internet in quiet periods and would preferr to keep the privelage.

HRC is fresh and clean cut, Repsol is virtually borderline chav these days. :cringe:

Also, Stinkwheel; Thumbs Up on that last reply. Bit of a warning wouldn't of gone a miss. Karma

Chris, you're a tit. Pun Intended.

All the factory colourschemes are shit, buy one and then assault it with Halfraud's finest rattle can matt black.

But first of all rip the tail and shite exhaust off and replace with something decent, like maybe a piece of welded scaff bar with some barbed wire wrapped around it.

I can't be the only one that thinks these bikes look like they have been crashed front-first into a wall and been squished? Confused

The HRC one will be very uncommon and will look good. Thumbs Up

Don't really like either but chose hrc because you asked.

I don't think I would go with them though regardless of the price.

Do you think it will assist in resale value later ?

Or consider this which is going to be easier to find matching plastics for if you bin it ?
