Hey,

A big thanks to all that assisted me in getting started out, it was all very much appreciated.

I hope admin/mods dont mind be putting my forums here (it is anime/games based)..So i doubt there will be much interest from peeps here anyway.

BUT, Please do register, even if it is to boost my member counts..Help me get going

Just finding it hard to get traffic. As many forums dont want you putting ur site up on there..I assume bcf would be cool with it as it is totally unrelated.

Not really interested in anime series, though I do like films, but rarely go out of my way to obtain them.

If you get some anime-art arty people over there I'd come and nick wallpapers.... and try and convince someone to do a decent logo for BCF tshirts etc though Smile

If you want traffic the best way to get it is to submit your site to as many search engines as possible.

I was having a look around, and it is all very costly..

google, with keyword as just: Anime was like £25 a day!!

Any ideas on where to submit my forums cheap or for free?

I would tend to disagree, for a forum it might be better to try and get some links on anime sites that don't have forums.

If people search for a a anime forum they're unlikley to start posting on an empty one.

This forum started from nsr125.com, which is where a lot of people still come through.

It'll also act as a semi google bomb of sorts and get you lots of registered links.

I presume that is to have it a sponsered link at the top? My sites have just ended up on google through traffic and being linked to.

IMHO you need less forums, as my view would be to start with a few very wide area forums, and to then split it up when it is becoming to clogged up and confusing. However it's not my site so it's not up to me Smile

Best way to get a new forum is to take a different aproach, and to do something different. There are thousands of anime ones so why should people go there rather than elsewhere is the bottom line? Sad

Worth trying to get some similar sites to link exchange as well

Don't pay for these search engine ranking gimmicks. A friend of mine researched search engine technology for his degree, and he knows a few tricks so I'll see what advice I can get out of him. In the meantime, register with a lot of forums and add your URL to your signature. Google will find it and add it to it's repository.
