Anyone got one for sale that's in decent condition (that means running, everything is in good order and won't fall apart after 10 miles) and that's around £500 or less? I am after one that's as new as possible, I dunno if it's true but a mate says there's a few N/P reg's floating around that are priced around £500, I dunno how accurate this information is though...

Anyways, anyone who is selling one or knows someone selling one could you post info please cos I am looking to buy one within the next month or so just to get me back on the road till I can afford my proper bike.

Cheers

I know it's not quite a CG, but you can have my GN for £350. It's relaible, won't fall apart just yet, and is mucho quicker than a CG

I don’t think he's passed his test yet?

Zak's right (for once Razz) on that score. It's basically a bike that I can use till I can afford to do my test and get a bigger bike, so it's gotta be 125cc or less. I have been considering anything and everything, might even get a 125cc ped if the price is right.

Well with a budget of £500 for a CG, I presume you have money as well for the insurance...

£350 for GN
Leaves you with £150 to take a few lessons and get your test sorted

Very Happy

Yeah but Stephen by the same token if I do my test I could buy an old GPZ500 or something and I don't want to do that. I want something less than 125cc so that it will make me get my arse in gear and do my test when I get bored of 60mph and getting overtaken by hobbits on skateboards. Hey Stephen, do you have a skateboard? Very Happy

Do your test mate it's easy. Doing training is harder than the test.
