I've got a full 'A' license for motorbikes.

Do I still have to get a provisional license to begin driving lessons?

Also, I got a provisional license when I was 17 (8 years ago), is that still in effect? I have since updated my license card to show my full bike license, and it doesn't mention my provisional license.

Thanks in advance!

Yes. Thumbs Up

A full bike license gives you provisional car entitlement.

Thanks guys!

After a bit more research it seems I can. Looking at the paper part of my license, it says it there.

Although I think they changed the rules for those that took tests after 2001 - the newer licenses don't come with provisional car licenses.

Nope, it's still the same.
