Bit of a weird problem and I will get tore into the electrics tomorrow.

A couple of days ago I indicated to turn a corner and didn't get the idiot light, so I stopped and checked and there was no indicators or brake light. It turned out the fuse had blown (has been fine up to this point).

In the last 2 days I've gone through 3 10amp fuses and have now put a 15amp fuse in to see if it blows that one as quick

Now the problem is, if there was a short somewhere, wouldn't that instantly blow the fuses? I've done a quick check and all the plugs etc are all secure and no exposed wires that could be shorting out on bumps. I've already checked the voltage and it's about 14.6 at 5k rpm+

Perhaps its a chaffed wire that is shorting out at intermittent intervals? Try full locking the bars a few times with indicators on. Failing that, yank the fuse and the bulbs then get a continuity meter out see if you get a reading between the frame and the indicator lives (assuming your frame is neutral/ground). Thumbs Up

I went out on the bike yesterday for a few miles and it didn't eat a single fuse (although there's still the 15 amp in there at the moment).

Went through all the wiring and fittings and the only thing I found was 1 of the connectors on an indicator had no insulation on it, so I tried to tape it up and it came away from the wire, so I replaced the spade fitting. Don't know if that was the problem or not, but I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days
