Hi, i really need help with my bike, i have had it since feb and i bought it with abit done to it, but i was riding it one day and it seized, so i bought a new polini 70cc kit (same as what was on it) and there has been trouble ever since!

the parts:
-Polini 70cc kit (new)
-Polini 2shoe adjustable clutch
-Polini race variator
-Polini Rollers (look fine)
-Enki Reed Block valve (new)
-Jetted Carb (was done before, the carb has been cleaned)
-NGKR spark plug (new)
-Athena Belt (new)
-Coil Replaced with another used one
-Metra Kit Carbon exhaust
-Crankshaft Seals replaced
-Biturbo adjustable rear shock
-Tank cleaned and fresh fuel put in

The problem:
The bike starts and pulls off fine but when it gets to about 30mph, it starts to splutter and lose power, and maybe backfire? after about 30 it starts to go towards 40, at full throttle?! before it seized this bike would do 55mph easy, and yet now with a new 70 kit, it struggles to do even 40!

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME, IM RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE AND MONEY!

Does sound like you have the wrong jetting/general carb set up.

It had the same 70 kit on previously and it was already jetted... it seemed to work fine before, do you think it could still be jetting due to a new 70 kit?

When you put the 70cc kit on did you adjust the air filter/carb jets?

No we didnt even think of the jetting the carb, as its the same kit, do you think it could still need jetting due to the new kit?

it does seem to be running rich when its started.. very smokey

thanks

Carb is not set up right.

Get someone who knows what they are doing to have a look at it for you.
