dt125x fuel mixture

hey guys, ...

iv taken the full dep pipe off my bike and put on a standard yam front pipe and a fresco back pipe.

the bike now runs a lot better but its using a lotta fuel (30mpg) an there is always a kinda petrolly smell from the exhaust like its running rich.

any of u guys know how to adjust the mixture on the dt125x ... its a 2004 model and also how do i know when its not too rich/too weak.

you can try a plug chop to get your main jet sorted and go from there, various ways of doing it but heres 1 guide... https://www.dfn.com/benkaren/plugchop.html

Have you checked to see if your jetting is stock, air filter is clean and carb not gunked up before you start?
