Have my first off....

Entered a roundabout, old dude in cage pulled out right in front of me, then decided to stop when he saw me, could do sod all except anchor up, ended up hitting him just behind the drivers wheel, only going slow when we collided.

Damage to bike=cracked mudguard, front fairing brackets shagged so the fairing is lower than where it should be, scuffed and scratched rhs fairing and engine cover, scuffed bar end and front brake lever, bent rear break lever and scratched and dented rhs silencer, the old girl also feels a bit wooly on the front end so there may be some damage to the forks.

Damage to me= nowt but a bruised shoulder and hip and my visor came off as i twatted my head on the road.

Sorry to hear that Moose. Glad you've come out of it relatively OK. Did you do much damage to the old codger's car?

I've had the exact same thing happen to me before in a car. Old bloke at a roundabout, hesitated, decided to go for it, then bottled it, stomped on the middle pedal and I went in the side of him. If he'd of put his foot on the accelerator there'd of been no collision. He admitted total responsibilty at the side of the road, then by the time I'd got back to work (it was a sales car) he'd rung up and said I'd entered the roundabout at twice the speed limit. Of course, with me being a 17 year old 'boy racer' at the time my employers believed him. If you're going through insurance did you get any witnesses?

Nah only pulled off the side skirt, will probably push straight back on. Was lucky realy, as i had very nearly stopped when i hit him. Good old cast iron discs have the stopping power of a brick wall.
