Legal on a 125 licence? They're talking complete arse - they mean it's legal on your *restricted* licence.

Thats talking crap. It will be legal on a restricted license, but not on a 125 license, as it isn't a 125!

So not only does the owner not know what she's talking about, the bike looks a bit of a shitter and also its been standing for a while.

IMO - Avoid.

I think that there's just been a misunderstanding here - from the way that I interpret it, I think that the woman is saying that you can ride the bike on the licence that you gain from passing your test on a 125cc bike. Hence the mentioning of having a restrictor kit fitted etc. I don't think that she's BS'ing, but just lacking the precise terminology.

Eitherway, you can't legally ride the bike on the roads with just a CBT.

Hi

Doesn't sound too bad. We paid £800 for one with a marginally higher mileage. It isn't far from where I work either.

They are nice enough bikes. Finish isn't great. Handling is OK. Fuel consumption is excellent. Top speed is around 127. Quite low and light. Silly size tyres.

Only real problem is that the cooling system need to be drained so you can remove a few water pipes and get the rocker cover off. Also the alternators self destruct and leave magnets all over the place

I would be tempted if I was in the market for a bike like that

By the way, the mirrors on it do not look original. Stalks look too long and thin

All the best

Keith
