My stock plate is a bit of a beast so I'm thinking of getting this:

8"x6"

Legal is 9x7 so it shouldn't attract attention from the rozzers.

What'dya think?

8 x 6?

Thought a better and more common size was 8 x 4?

I agree with the YAMAHA logo looking rubbish.

If it was me, I'd have just the reg, no border, no yamaha and no bike model.

I like it Laughing

What about:

I wanted something on the left at least. Otherwise, I could lose the text/logo and go down to a 7x5 plate:

Another thing I just thought of is the L-plate... I have it attached to my plate usually but if I attached it to the smaller plate it'd be a big give away to the rozzers.

Ok, just made a template and measured it against my current plate and I've decided just to go with a stock plate (no text, logos or borders) in 8x6. I need a new plate anyway as mine has two holes in it from the last mount Thumbs Up

EDIT: or maybe I should keep the border? Thinking

I like the current plate the way it is though, I think a border wouldn't look as good Thinking

I'm too picky Laughing Ah well, I've got tomorrow to think it through I guess. Defo want it plain though, dunno what I was thinking with the logos and stuff, it's a bitty chavvy Laughing

well..you could always go all out and write it on a piece of cardboard and try cruising with that Razz
Why not just keep it the same as most? Im just puzzled as to why you wanna mod your number plate? Im probably too boring to bother Razz

What do you think to this? Very Happy I like yours, but I'd say go for the one with the emblem rather than the yamaha lettering & agree with others I wouldn't bother with the text at the bottom. Thumbs Up
