Is it A2 or DAS?

Either way, you should be able to.

Probably not you have to use the same capacity machine for both modules, and you must be accompanied by a DSA instructor on a 500cc with L's.

Not as far as I'm aware. I took Mod1 on 650cc & Mod2 on a 600cc Aslong as the bike for your test has atleast 35kW it doesn't matter if you change bikes.

But Koho if you can get insured on it go for it! Wish I'd the same opportunity retaking DAS Mod2's expensive.

As far as I know it'd be fine. But your mate would have to ride it to the test centre & then attach the L plates or stick the L plates on and get someone to drop the bike off at the test centre (via van/trailer) since you cant ride it without an approved instructor/examiner in radio contact.

Thats what I meant just I was a bit too far gone last night to type it understandably. you cant do a 125cc on mod 1 then a 500 on mod 2.

Don't expect the insurance to be cheap though if u manage to find someone who will cover you.

Hi Koho. Sorry to hear you did not pass mod2. I have failed it twice now and had the same dilema. In the end I have bitten the bullet and paid for some instruction and the mod2 again. Test is tomorrow. Fingers crossed 3rd time lucky.

Seemed like TOO much hastle looking at doing it on a private bike. I can not see that you could get insurance.
