Does anyone know the exact date when this is applied to your licence?
The minute you pass your test, the day you receive your licence through the post or when your registered as having a full DL by the DVLA?

I just need to know since it's been two years since I passed the day I got my certificate and was wondering if I'm exempt from it now?

Any help appreciated.

Probably 2 years from the start date on your licence. You don't get a letter.

As far as I know, it's two years from the date you pass your test.

(I accept no responsibility for loss of your license if I'm wrong and you do something stupid)

Under the New Drivers Act your driving licence will be revoked if you build up six or more penalty points within two years of passing your first driving test. You’ll need to reapply for your driving licence as a learner driver and resit your driving test.
Penalty points gained before passing your driving test
Any penalty points you gain before passing your first driving test are taken into account. However, having six or more doesn’t mean your licence will be revoked straight after you pass your test.

Gaining further points after passing your test, taking your total to six or more, will mean your licence will be revoked.

Seems pretty clear its from the date you pass your test.

As ever DVLA has the info you need.....
