Ste is correct. You don't need to display L plates and you can carry a passenger. No motorways though as mopeds aren't allowed on them anyway. Also, if you passed your car test AFTER February 2001, you need to do CBT in order to validate your moped entitlement, and the DL196 certificate is valid for the duration of your license so keep it safe. Same rules as above then apply to you. ____________________ CBT February 2008 | A2 June 2008 | Yamaha YBR125 (written off) | Honda CBF125 (current) |

Still, if you've completed basic training then you've completed it it doesn't mean you forget it all after 2 years. It's not like you have to retake your driving test every 2 years. I think having a 2 year limit on theory test also is just another moneygrabbing technique. License holders don't have to prove that they know it all again every 2 years so why should it matter if you don't get it done all at once?
But then, that's another topic altogether |

because you passed your test before 2001 you can drive a moped without a cbt BUT it has to be a maximum of 50cc and limited to 30mph, its like being 16 all over again ,have fun. |
