There is a hill around my area that is rather well to be nice extreme, it drops rather steep then drops again steeper and then even steeper.

Now a lass I know has a Hornet and recons she will be able to do it faster than me now her bike is derestricted. Now this girl is not from round her and could not keep up with me on 'my roads' let alone tackle this hill at any speed more than 60mph. She is from Stourbridge and as I have learn her roads are more like a race track compaired to mine where you are stood up most of the time just to keep comtrol.

She is adament that she is going to ride the 170miles to here just to try this bit. Now I have done this hill many times before and almost killed myself after trying it at 150mph.

Background info.

As said before the hill is steep, then drops steeper, and then steeper again. Anywhere over 90mph and on the 1st drop the front comes off the floor and on the 2nd it gets higher and the back comes off leaving your flying at 90mph in mid air following the road until the bottom, where you land in the most out of control fashion I have ever seen. This is decounting the factor of there is a huge bend at the bottom which you must negotiate whilst trying to settle the bike.

How would you persuade this idiotic girl from killing herself?

Out of interest, I wonder what the terminal velocity of a GT650R would be if you dropped it out of a plane? Probably not much more than 150mph I reckon

If you go on google and type in Swallow it will bring up the junction where you start the run. At that point you can just pin it all the way and gain as much speed as possible, which is usually upto about 135 - 140mph. Then you start the hill. On the map it is bearly recognisable, but it is mega steed in a gradiant i'd say of about 1:8 - 1:6 - 1:4 all over the space of about 150foot which seems a long distance but at that speed you have no idea what happening until you've done it.

I have given up on her and just told her to text me when she does it so I can have a few days for her to be found without me hitting her.

Ghost run it.

Challenge her to a race down it with the engine off.

I love doing ghost runs on stuipd hill passes and it teaches you a lot about how the braking and speed affects cornering. The best bit is when you overtake people with no engine on.

I managed to pass two cars and a car towing a caravan (which shouldn't have even been there, they are banned off that road) all at oncer as I was ghosting down Sutton Bank a few weeks back.

It really confuses them because you are totally silent as you go past.

The Sutton Bank Stinkwheel mentioned .Didn't realise there were any roads in the UK that are that steep.

Apparently an even steep road in Wales but not meant to be used by motor vehicles.
