not sure if its a fault or just one of them things but whenever my nsr idles there is a slight tapping noise coming from the clutch/flywheel/crankcase area i cant quite pin down where its coming from

if i rev the bike over about 2,500k it disappears or i cant hear it anymore anyways. is this normal or is it something on the way out? its done it ever since i have had the bike which is only about a month now, although i have replaced all clutch friction plates and had the entire crank apart to change a gear bush and a gear selector fork. i put the bike back together and fired her up and the tapping is still there. i checked the small end while i had it apart and all looks good and fairly new as the last owner said it had just had the top end done

could it be my oil pump tapping? as im not sure the type of pump used ont he nsr or if anyones got any ideas or if its normal that would be great. other than that the bike runs perfectly and quickly

many thanks in advance - taz
