Piaggio NRG 2006 No Spark.

Hi to all, I'm new to the Forum and looking for some knowledge.I have recently taken on this job of the above bike, it's a water cooled version by the way.I have no spark at the plug, I have no pulse from the stator trigger coil (red wire). I have an Earth on the white/black wire, and a 80V AC live on the green.
The Stator plate including trigger coil is all brand new (replaced as resistance out of specs, specs i found on net). The new stator coils resistances are all pretty well the same as the old ones (so the old stator was fine, I know)
Is there any known issues with the magnet unit in the flywheel plate on these? or should I be looking at cranking speed? or any other suggestions out there? Battery is good and seems to be turning over the engine as I would expect.Any input appreciated, cheersTony.
