Got a FZR600R the bike down by 1 year from it,
Nice bike, good engine, check 2nd gear on em.
Have had 145 on a private runway.
Nothing really else to say, the TCAT has more midrange than the FZR but fzr has a bit more on the topend. They go quite cheap too.

Fair bit of go in them, do about 50mpg, excellent brakes, second gear will need to be checked as the gears are straight cut and second is quite tall so if the bike has been ragged it can jump out of second if pushed hard. The suspension is fully adjustable which is also a bonus. Pretty comfortable too with plenty leg room too..... don't really know what else to say about them......

Budget to replace the front springs and oil if you aren't an 8 stone weakling, they bottom out under heavy braking. The bikes are very good, if a little on the dull side, the power is very linear, with no major step in the curve, so they can feel a bit boring, even when you are shifting pretty quickly.

The gearbox issues have been listed above, apart from that they are pretty rock solid.

Cheers

Grim

Loved mine, rear suspension goes as well and if its not got stainless down pipes chance are they will need replacing as they rot quickly !

Had an aftermarket pipe and sprockets upgraded and it was plenty quick enough although nothing on the newer R6's.

Pic of my old one in my sig Very Happy
