Yamaha Fazer in a kind of gross gold colour.

Reliable and cheap, not to mention fast, transport - london couriers use them for a good reason!

Just had a nice refresh to freshen it up with:

-gold rim tape £5
-new stainless exhaust downpipes.£165
- 2nd hand replacement silencer (due to rusty blow) £50
-new exhaust gaskets £12
-new radiator after various stone incidents £120
-new DID X ring chain and sprockets £110
-semi synth oil £20
-oil filter £6
-gen yamaha air filter £22
-4 x CR9E plugs £18
-fuel filter £8
-fork dust seals replaced due to perishing. £15
-Fork seals and oil renewed £75
- carbs balanced £40
-magnetic sump plug £5
-front goldfren HH brake pads £30
-all calipers cleaned out
-front wheel bearings renewed £15
-rear dog bones changed to raise the rear 25mm. This doesnt inpact comfort but raises the fazers game slightly. £20
-all linkages greased.
-under seat tool kit replaced as a few bits had gone missing. £15
- Clutch plates replaced with 2nd hand items (my friend wrote his fazer off with near new plates in it so i took them off his hands) £25
- new clutch cable £10
- Shiney new levers (they had alot of vertical play due to use) £17
- Late model left hand switch gear to add hazard warning function £5
- New pair of bridgestone BT020s £210
- alwaystreated with ACF50 protectant.

6 months MOT & Tax
24k on the clock with not a great deal of service history before i picked it up unfortunately although when i got it the oil was still golden so someone must have kept an eye on it.
All the above has been done in the last few months/2000 miles.

As you can see, thats over £1000 on new parts recently.

There are marks on the bike from use, but hey its not a new bike! Come and take a look for yourself Or i have more pics to send if you want them.



Im looking for a swap. dunno what im after or why im swapping - just fancy a change really.
Only requirements are:

1)must be reliable
2)must not need any money spending on it in the near future

other than that im open to suggestions.
