hey guys

i need some help...

i currently own a Honda XLR125 and im after a Honda XL125 Varadero, i have recently started a new job in the IT trade and now need something a little bit more presentable than my current trial bike..

sooo.... does anyone know anybody selling one for around 1100? orrrr any places where i can look for them for sale on the web as i only know ebay and bike trader Embarassed

i want the earlier model as i know my budget is quite tight

also... if anyone wants a Honda XLR125 for a winter commuter then i have one and i am selling it:

Honda XLR125 White
S reg (1998)
31,000 miles on the clock but actual miles are 23,000 as they have been changed by a local dealer
good nick
just had a brand new stainless steel pipe (front and back + silencer)
recent chain/sprockets/front disc & caliper + pads
i have a folder full of receipts which total to over 600 quid in work iv put into this bike

can anyone help at all?

thanks guys

Very Happy

lol this isnt the market section

Stick your bike on ebay or autotrader and get it sold then buy a Varadero..

I saw one sell on ebay not too long ago for like £600

Good choice of bike....guess what I ride...lol, seems to be a lot of interest in these recently. Anyway have a look in the for sale section of this forum.

lol...
why does being in the IT trade make you need a more suited bike?
Presentability.. is nothing. I could turn up to work in a 3 door B reg nova...or my 51 plate rover..and no one could care.
Also..i ride the ugliest bashed up fuck nugget of a GS500...absolutely nothing wrong with turning up on whatever you have.

I found Varadero's very big, Not fast at all, same as most 125's, decent acceleration, but bugger all top end.

I would say look for a Hyosung, but im biased, large bikes, pretty easy to make them a little bit faster, and I loved it Smile
