my dad's been on about sorting his bike test out for a while now and today we went and bought him a lovely CG to get a bit of experience on.

my question is does he need to do a cbt before he can ride it?

i know there's some extra rules that apply to people who passed there full car test after feb 2002 or something but wasn't sure if this applied here.

I told him i think he need's to do cbt but after thinking about it im not too sure Confused

I think you have to cbt for 125. He can ride a 50cc if he passed his car test before april 2001 or something

Yes you need a CBT for a CG. Can avoid doing it if you have a moped.
