Came back from work at midday(after stating at 0400) to find my bike cover in a compromising position.

i.e NOT how I left it....1/2 off!!

I only live 10mins from work so go on BICYCLE!! Still 2 wheels!

Reckon the only thing stopping(them) was the Abus disklok at front & Meaty mongrel chain / padlock / groundanchor at rear.

Don't live in best of areas-but first(& not unexpected) time been so obvious!

Anyway - Apart from electrifying the cover - what would be the best way to prevent those that covet my property?

Think I know who it(they are) is - but need to be sure before going having a very quiet word.

I would have a very noisy word. If you get the wrong scotes you can bet that they know the right scrotes and will pass on the word if they are let to know that no matter who plays with your toys it is them that will end up on the naughty step.

Get an alarm on it so it alerts neighbours/scares them off?

Set up CCTV.

Setup an IP Camera. You can logon from work and view the feed via the internet. Would be slightly better than CCTV as it emails you when there's motion. You could get on the phone to a neighbour or something close who could physically stop them, rather than come home, view the CCTV of some scrotes in hoodys and the bikes gone.
