Pirelli Angel ST, Anyone tried them?

My front BT021 is starting to square off so I'm in the market for some new rubber. My current rear 021 is still in fine shape so not looking to replace as a set just yet but I was thinking of trying another brand.

I've heard all about the Roadsmarts and Pilot Roads but I've not heard much about the Pirelli Angels.

I would like to know how others have found these tyres and if anyone has used Avon Storm rubber too and what they're like?

PS: Yes I'm after sport touring rubber for commuting

Probably better off changing both tyres to see if they work well as a set.
Failing that, I'm due to change tyres SOON (in the next 1000 miles). At the moment, I'm using Dunlop Roadsmarts which I can swear by. I had them on my ZX6R F and they handled like a dream. Very predictable and stable. Each to their own though, but I can hold my hand high and say that Roadsmarts are ace. I've done 5.5k on my current set on my 929. I'm waiting on £££ Offers from Pirelli to tempt me onto getting the Angels. They're obviously around to replace the Diablo Strada.

Ive recently had a new set of rubber on my zx6r, which is used for fun and commuting.

Opted for a set of Avon Viper Sports at £120 a pair.

Was kinda dubious at first as no one has really tried them and the people that have,seem to slate them. (but they were £120 so who gives a toss!)

Have now got 500-600 miles on the set and they are brilliant tyres! Feel alot like my old Diablo's, but without the feeling of every imperfection in the road. Will see how they go mileage wise but so far im happy with them!

I very much doubt that vipersports would constitute to being SPORT-TOURING. They'll last 4-5k miles but you'll probably want 7k mles out of a set. I'll be interested to see with ANGEL ST reviews in terms of durability. I know that roadsmarts can do 6K miles on my blade and ZX6R so they'll fit the bill.

Mr Kris off here brought some angels for his Bandit! didnt really say much about them! but they didnt have any chicken strips, and didnt seem to loose grip!

Got Storms on a ZZR600. Done about 2k on them. Had Azaro STs on
before. Loved the Storms from the off. Big improvement in the wet
and the dry. Having said that, the Azaros were well past it beforehand.

Storms on my busa. I've done about 1000 miles on them and they are way better than teh Bridgestone OEMs. They are easily going to last longer and they are very confidence inspiring.
