I took the pit for a track day at the Kinsham raceway on Sunday.
Quite poor riding on my behalf. Mainly because the bike just wasn't sticking to the tarmac, at all!
But I know what I need to do to fix it for next time, So It's all good.
And I should be able to maintain some corner speed once the bikes been tweaked a bit.
Before anybody comments that I'm really slow, I'm not, It's the other racers. They were all fucking fast! 3 of them were actually professional racers, And the other 3 have been racing pit bikes for 3 years.
This was my first ever track day.
Tyres are fucked, Although they weren't really cut out for a fast pit bike anyway, They are scooter tyres. Which is the main reason I stacked it twice.
Forks are too soft, Spanny clouted the floor twice under heavy braking.
Rear end is too high, Heavy braking and down changing gears was causing it to lift at the back.
Other than that, I loved it, And will be doing more next summer!
